Digital solutions
Our digital solutions are constantly evolving to better meet the needs of policyholders and plan members. Each new tool and enhancement is thoughtfully designed to provide a simple and streamlined experience. We aim to give users the autonomy they need to manage their benefits, from submitting claims to updating personal information, confidently and securely.
Streamlined claims
We completely revamped the process for all types of claims to make it more user-friendly, with an emphasis on paperless communication. Plan members who have access to the secure site can now:
- Submit all claims and predeterminations online
- Upload all healthcare-related documents through the secure site
- Submit wellness account and other expenses through the Omni app
Easier benefit management
We also gave plan members more autonomy to manage their benefits securely. Plan members who have access to the secure site can now:
- Designate and update their beneficiaries on the secure website (For groups in effect before July 1, 2025, you can contact your Desjardins representative to activate this new feature.)
- Manage group insurance and group retirement savings plans easily, from one place
- Access more information digitally, including their insurance booklet and certificate

Other enhancements
- Improved online enrollment for existing groups, with some parts* done by plan members and enrollment tracking for administrators
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for our secure sites and the Omni app
- Revamped Desjardins.com site with a simpler, more modern interface
Coming soon
- Ability to submit short- and long-term disability claims through the Omni app or plan members and policyholders’ secure sites
- A supplementary healthcare simulator for checking coverage details and deductibles
Our achievements
* Selecting the coverage type for mandatory benefits (single, family, etc.) and exemptions for certain benefits (if the plan member is covered by another group insurance plan)
